AADYAA NGO

AADYAA Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in Assam, India, dedicated to empowering indigenous communities and promoting cultural heritage. Initiated by Dr. Santasree Mallik Bhuyan, a handloom expert and the Senior Vice Chairperson of FICCI FLO NorthEast, AADYAA aims to make a lasting impact by supporting grassroots communities and fostering positive change.

Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to meaningful initiatives, including the adoption of two villages—Palangbari in Bongaigaon (2016) and Nazirakhat in Kamrup (2020)—to provide sustainable support. AADYAA also partners with Auxilium Ashalaya, an orphanage in Chandmari, Guwahati, offering support during the challenging times of the global pandemic.

In collaboration with AJAKA, a handloom brand representing Assam’s indigenous weavers, the foundation advocates for the preservation of Assam's handloom tradition, promoting local craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

The AADYAA Foundation strives to create a larger, inclusive community where like-minded individuals come together to make a difference. With a focus on providing free services, assistance, and support, we aim to level the ground and bring people closer through the power of social media and collaboration.
